Foreword

The International Workshops on Nonlinear Optics Applications are organized since 1992 by the Institute of Physics at the Warsaw University of Technology and the Institute of Physics at the Technical University of Szczecin.

The purpose of the Workshop is to provide a forum for both senior and young scientists from different countries to present and discuss current research problems. The Workshop will deal with experimental and theoretical aspects of nonlinear optics application, including nonlinear guided wave optics, optical solitons, optical bistability, nonlinear optical materials.

Scientific Programme

The scientific sessions will start at 9 a.m. on Monday, August 31st . The NOA’98 will end in the evening on Wednesday, September 2nd . The program will consist of invited lectures and contributed communications. Every presentation should not exceed 30 minutes.
