n x DAC | ELMB +DAC for CFD |
Introduction The DAC can be used in other systems and by other controllers (ELMB) as well, since it is controlled through a simple serial interface (CS, CLK, DIN, DOUT for MAX525).
Hardware Description Summary: - 8 channels (12-bit) using too 12-bit 4-channel MAX525 ICs, - Controlled through a opto-isolated CS, CLK, DIN, DOUT signals, - Supply outputs 4x (-5 ÷ +5 V) and 4x (0 ÷ -10 V) - Output accuracy 0.1% - Power: external power supply +6 ÷ +12V and -6 ÷ -12V - Current from one output max 20 mA, - Speed (100 Hz) - optocouplers,
Total Cost 120 - 140 CHF (MAX525, AD680, PC847, LM324, TS7805, Passive components, Connectors, PCB, Assembly, Contingency) |
